What We Don't Collect

• We don't collect or store your notes in Normal mode
• We don't track URL fragments (the part after #)
• We don't require registration or personal information
• We don't use cookies for tracking
• We don't log IP addresses with note content
• We don't have access to your passwords

Normal Mode

In Normal mode, your note exists only in the URL fragment. This fragment is never sent to our servers - it stays entirely in your browser. We have zero visibility into what you share.

Short Link Mode (Coming Soon)

When Short Link mode launches, we will store only:

• Encrypted blob (if using password protection)
• Creation timestamp
• Expiration time (TTL)
• Size metadata

Notes are automatically deleted after expiration. We never store plaintext content when password protection is used.

Encryption

When you use password protection:

• Encryption happens entirely in your browser
• We use industry-standard AES-256-GCM encryption
• Your password never leaves your device
• We cannot decrypt your notes, even if compelled

Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services:

• Hosting infrastructure (for serving the application)
• Content delivery networks (for performance)

These services may collect basic access logs, but they never receive your note content from URL fragments.

Data Retention

Normal Mode: No data is retained - notes exist only in URLs.

Short Link Mode: Data is retained only for the specified TTL period, then automatically and permanently deleted.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal information, traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) don't apply. You maintain complete control:

• Notes in Normal mode disappear when you stop sharing the link
• Short links auto-delete after expiration
• You can create new notes without any history or tracking

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Our core commitment to privacy will never change.
